After running 110 games for free, I decided that I needed to charge a small fee to play games here. I spend one to two hours each day running the games, and it costs me money to provide the service. I don't expect to cover my costs with these charges, just to offset them to some degree.
| Game Fees | One pound sterling per game |
I am based in the UK, so for all new games, I will charge each player two pounds sterling. This will be a single charge for the life of the game.
When you sign up for a game, I will contact you to confirm the game fees required. You will need to have a credit rating with me sufficient to cover the cost of the games you have signed up for. This means there may be a delay between joining a game and appearing as a fully paid up sign-up on the waiting list, but as I can rarely start games as soon as people join, it is unlikely to delay your games.
Another reason for charging the fees was a spate of people signing up for games without having read the Rules of Engagement, or signing up and then not replying to any messages at all.

If you are in the UK, you can send your game fees directly to me. The address is 14, Stepnells, Marsworth, Nr Tring, Herts, HP23 4NQ. Make cheques payable to Keith Thomasson.
Overseas players can also send fees to me directly if they wish. If you get an International Cheque from your bank, make sure it has the address of a London branch on it, as this eases clearance at my end. If you send cash (not recommended, but people have done so) the best thing is to convert at your end and send me pounds sterling or euros. People have been known to send cash direct, just be aware that there is more risk, as I cannot be responsible for non-arrival.
Players in the USA and Canada can send their subs to an American contact. Details will be provided to people as required. Please check with me before sending money in this way - your contact information may be out of date. You can also send money via PayPal. I now have a Premier account, which lets me accept credit card payments. You need to set up your own PayPal account, but should not need to wait until it has been verified before you can send money. If you use PayPal, tell them to send the money to fees at fwtwr.com. Lastly, if you are topping up your account with me, can you send a minimum of five pounds/ten dollars to keep the loss due to PayPal fees to a minimum.
Whatever the method used, you are advised to let me know how much you have sent and how, so that I can know what to expect.
If currency conversion is required, the amount you will be credited with will depend on the UK exchange rates current on the day the funds are received, and may also be subject to commission on exchange, although I will aim to keep this to a minimum, which means not actually changing it if I can repatriate the currency.
