For Whom The Die Rolls was published once a month in booklet form. The cover colours generally alternated between yellow and grey. It is difficult to explain why this is. It just started out that way and it seemed reasonable to continue.

Unlike a lot of other postal games zines, FWTDR concentrated mostly on the games, without a lot of chat or other stuff. No letter column, few articles, just loads of games. From time to time an extra item was included with an issue. Each November a Deadline Diary was included for the coming year that could be used to record deadlines for FWTDR and other zines. There was a theory that this would help players stick to deadlines, but this was hard to provd. I also serialised four stories that were written by my father many years ago. The first was called The Bent Wheel, the second Don't Go To Monaco, the third Strictly Illegal and the fourth The Watery Maze.

The information about FWTDR on this web site is not exhaustive. It consists of one summary page for each issue with details on circulation, games starting and finishing, etc. There is also one page for each game, recording the winner and runner-up and a few other details.  Each player who completed at least one game also has their own page, listing their victories and other games.  The issue, game and player pages are cross-linked.
